A Look Back At Melania Trump’s Most Memorable Fashion Moments

Say what you want about Melania Trump, but this controversial Slovenian bombshell has served up some undeniably chic outfits over the past few years. She’s never one for a tacky print or an ill-fitted ensemble. Instead, she’s all about tailoring, neutrals, and statement colors. Honestly, her fashion was probably the best thing to come out of that entire presidency. Here are the hottest Melania style looks that we can’t stop obsessing over.

1. This casual look from June 2017 is one we want to recreate ASAP. Camel and white are always foolproof colors to match, and this time, Melania opted for wide-legged pants by Bally, and a more tailored white tank by Dolce & Gabbana. The matching bag and oversized sunnies might seem like add-ons, but they truly make the outfit.

2. Melania was giving us Audrey Hepburn vibes with this elegant gown, long cream gloves and side-swept up-do. This iconic silver column gown was designed by Dior Haute Couture at a formal state banquet that the Queen of England hosted. This was the first stop on their tour of the UK in 2019.

3. Snatched waist, anyone? Melania looks like the general of a hot babe army in this military-inspired green dress suit with matching shoes and a killer belt in the same shade. The gold button details and those front pockets bring everything together. She wore it to the 2020 RNC convention, with many saying the dictator-style outfit was a political statement.

4. This is one of our top Melania looks of all time. From the flower-like curves on this feminine dress to the barely-there belt and a slit/off-the-shoulder combo that showed just the right amount of skin, Melania was transformed into a walking piece of art with this look, which was designed by Hervé Pierre. She wore it to the Inauguration Freedom Ball in 2017.

5. This hot pink pussy-bow look was one of Mrs. Trump’s brightest statement looks. Afterwards, women all over America were spotted wearing this daring bow silhouette. Designed by Gucci, this shirt was made out of crepe de chine, and sold for $1,100.

6. We’re obsessed with this Givenchy cape and form-fitting black dress, which made our ex-FLOTUS look like an entrepreneurial boss babe. The lapels on it almost seems like an innovative take on a tuxedo lapel. When a cape fits well, it has the ability to truly transform any outfit.

7. Suede is always a fun texture to play with, and she didn’t shy away from going monochromatic with this one-of-a-kind take on it. The camel-toned suede base was paired with a classic Melania silhouette — sky-high, tall and slouchy boots with a chunky heel, and a belted trench coat that barely grazes the boots. The whole outfit is by Burberry.

8. Oftentimes, Mrs. Trump’s outfits have been compared to the late Jackie O. Kennedy, and that definitely rings true for this dreamy blue look. With a high, wrapped neck, matching gloves, and pointy blue stilettos in the same color, this Ralph Lauren look brought Jackie O.’s vintage looks into modern times.

9. Fancy hats can get a bit ridiculous at times, but this flat-topped hat angled just the right way was the ultimate outfit to meet the royal family in. Of course, it was designed by one of her favorites: Hervé Pierre. She paired the 2019 look with a belted white dress. The body-con dress by Dolce & Gabbana had a black color and belt, which tied together with the hat ribbon for a coordinated look that wasn’t overly matchy-matchy.

10. There’s just something about a woman in a well-tailored suit that just looked completely empowered. This one was designed by Dolce & Gabbana, with snakeskin stilettos by Manolo Blahnik. Those defined shoulders and drawn in waist on the jacket simply scream boss babe. This outfit was worn in Riyadh, at the Arab Islamic American Summit.

11. There’s nothing that defined Melania Trump better than a monochromatic, perfectly slouched look, so of course we had to end our-roundup with one. This creamy look paired a white ribbed turtleneck slightly darker, tight suede boots and one of her classic sophisticated trenches, this time by Max Mara. The choice of white was worn due to the snowy season, at the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in D.C.
